Equipment I use - Two Nikon D5200 cameras | 35mm Nikkor | 24-70mm g2 Tamron | 105mm Sigma (Macro) | 18-400mm Tamron | Nissan 860 speed light with a flash bender | Tripot
I am comfortable with the Nikon D5200 and yes it is not a high end camera. I use two when I am out on a shoot. They are light and easy to use keep in mind it's the person with a sound technical knowledge of photography behind the camera that creates the photo artistically the camera is only a tool. I shoot in RAW and always in "Manual" mode. Using the correct lens in specific senarios make a big differance how the photo looks and feel. I have two new lenses in my kit that were released in 2017. The 18-400mm Tamron was released in July 2017 and the 24-70mm G2 Tamron in Aug 2017. With the D5200 combined with these lenses allows me to create great photos as you can see in the galleries.
My assistant and my second shooter assists me to make sure that the client receive the best possible end result.
